Penguin Securities Holdings Pte Ltd (PSH), a Singapore-based company, today announced the acquisition of Node Asset Management Pte Ltd (Nodeam), a Singaporean IT management firm specializing in options trading risk management platforms and client operating systems for Accredited Investors (AI) and institutional wealth management derivatives.
This strategic move strengthens PSH Group’s position in the digital asset derivatives space under Penguin Securities Trading Pte Ltd. The acquisition brings on board four key Nodeam employees with deep expertise in IT security, digital asset management and custody, capital markets trading, and marketing communications. This bolsters PSH Group’s talent pool and fuels its growth across these critical areas.

Penguin Securities HD is a Singapore-based company co-founded by Yuya Kuratomi, a serial entrepreneur and founder of GMO Cyber Security by Ierae, Inc., Kentaro Kawabe (CEO), and Sho Setoguchi (Head of Trading and Structuring). Its subsidiary, Penguin Securities Trading Pte Ltd, plans to focus on providing unregulated cryptocurrency derivatives. With Nodeam’s expertise integrated into the mix, Penguin Securities Trading Pte Ltd is well-positioned to become a leader in the evolving digital asset derivatives landscape.
Another subsidiary, Penguin Securities Pte Ltd, is currently applying for the relevant regulatory approvals to allow it to deal in cryptocurrencies, as well as to provide broker-dealing services in relation to capital markets products, including derivatives contracts where the underlying assets include a mix of both traditional capital markets products and digital payment tokens.
